Who is this Jayam S.K. Gopi?

Jayam S.K. Gopi is the graceful person who made society refer to children with visual, auditory, intellectual, and brain developmental disabilities as “divine children.”

Born on July 15 to parents Saravanan and Kala, he has a twin brother. His native is Vadapalani. Since life had many lessons in store for him, he was not granted the gift of formal education by the divine.

He left school after the ninth grade, but his drive to life progress never diminished. He didn’t think about Kandan (Lord Murugan) during that time.

Initially, Jayam S.K. Gopi worked in a place that sold two-wheelers. Time moved along with those wheels. After watching the film “Baba” starring Superstar Rajini, he began to realize the supreme power of Goddess Kalikambal.

At that time, his childhood friend Murugappan took him to the Kalikambal Temple for the first time. Life began to change.

The first organization Jayam S.K. Gopi joined in the film industry was Kalikambal Jim Boys, which was the first miracle in his life. Starting as an ordinary Jim Boy, he eventually began acquiring the rights to release films in some theatres.

During that time, through a person named Ayyappan, he became a distributor for an area. He bought and distributed the Tamil Nadu rights to a top actor’s film, which led to a significant loss for Jayam S.K. Gopi.

Despite the circumstances, Gopi continued to visit the Kalikambal temple regularly. One day, his mother Kala told him, “You go all the way to that distant temple. Why don’t you visit the Palani Temple nearby, the temple of the deity who made poor a king?” With half a heart, Jayam S.K. Gopi went to the Vadapalani Temple for the first time.

Since his birthday, Murugan has been watching Gopi. For the first time, Gopi saw Murugan. The moment he saw him, he was filled with joyousness. Murugan smiled mischievously. Gopi felt a sense of relief as if half the burden on his heart was lifted. He began to worship Murugan day and night. JSK, who had been eating meat every day of the month, started avoiding meat on Tuesdays for Murugan. His devotion to Murugan grew stronger.

The Lord Shiva’s Son loves to test those who strive to achieve. Gopi faced severe difficulties because the films he distributed did not perform well.

One day, while inside the Vadapalani temple, Gopi received a bitter phone call. This made him feel like Murugan had abandoned him. Upset and angry, Gopi cursed Murugan and said, “I will never look at your face again.” He cried near the flagpole and left the temple. Murugan did not stop him and let him go.

Gopi was distressed and worried, thinking his life would be filled with darkness. Then, a man named Jayakumar came as a light. After looking at Gopi’s horoscope, Jayakumar said, “The son of Uma, Murugan, will not abandon you. The god you must worship is Murugan. Go to him immediately.” Feeling desperate, Gopi thought he had enough of the suffering. Jayakumar told him, “If the bad things must end, they will end.”

Accepting Jayakumar as his guru and unable to disobey his words, Gopi, with his overwhelming problems, returned to worship Murugan at Vadapalani temple. This time, a miracle happened. In just three days, Murugan solved Gopi’s problems, showing him that those who trust him will not be disappointed.

At this time, Jayakumar instructed Jayam S.K. Gopi to watch Murugan’s Thiruppalli Ezhuchi Dharshan (Early morning prayer) for 48 days. To fulfil this, Gopi went to see the prayer every morning. His life changed. The god in the sanctum raised his hand in blessing. Sadness went away, and brightness came.

After he started holding Lord Murugan tightly in prayer, Gopi met the saint Sundarananda Swami, who lived in Kolli Hills at the Vadapalani Venkateswara Temple. As a guru who would take Gopi to the next level, the saint told him to stop eating non-vegetarian foods for 48 days. Gopi accepted the saint’s words and followed them.

In this situation, his spiritual involvement led him into politics. On his Facebook page, he began to curse people who denied or criticized God. Politics started to trouble him. Every day was full of fights, arguments, and debates. Despite speaking the truth, he was falsely accused and defamed by a YouTube video. That video remains online till today.

It was then that wisdom began to grow within him. He realized that everything is an illusion and only Murugan is real. During this time, a woman told him to talk about Tamil God Murugan on a YouTube channel instead of politics. He wondered what to say. He prayed to Murugan. The same God came and made him speak. By the end of that speech, he understood the purpose of his life. Murugan completely took over Jayam Gopi.

He left politics and officially announced, “There will be no more politics in my life.”

The face of the Six-Armed King (Murugan) came to him daily. Over time, as he kept speaking about Murugan’s glory on YouTube, he became a channel spreading Murugan’s grace.

He loudly proclaimed that Murugan would heal troubled hearts. He even said it in his sleep. He explained to the ordinary people that Murugan would give everyone the wisdom he had received because Murugan is the father who gives wisdom to everyone. JSK also decided to make a movie to spread Murugan’s grace.

During this time, following Murugan’s command, he started directly helping children who were blind, deaf or had mental and brain development issues. He told the world that Murugan had ordered him to call these children “divine children.”

Jayam Gopi’s next move was a journey to the Himalayas. That journey made him realize the truth about the immense power of the universal force.

Meditation took over him. Someone came forward and taught him third-eye awakening meditation. Spirituality started to influence him. He planned an event to show the world that Murugan is calling people to understand the truth that worshiping him removes karma.

In meditation, Murugan instructed him to go to Palani Temple and beg to help the divine children. He followed this command and used the donations to help the children.
Initially, Jayam Gopi bought hearing aids for just two children. Today, he has provided hearing aids to over 50 children. He understood that he was just an instrument for bringing good to these children.

He took mentally challenged divine children to worship Murugan at Poombarai Temple and gave them the holy water from the abhishekam (ritual bathing of the deity). He told the world that Murugan had instructed him that doing this would bring a change in their lives.

Another day, during meditation, this devotee of Murugan mentioned in a live stream on a YouTube channel that to attain all wealth, devotees should stay overnight at Tiruchendur Temple and worship Senthilandavar on the night of the full moon. Following this, lakhs of devotees gathered to witness Senthil Murugan on successive full moon days, marking the beginning of the Murugan era. Like the waves of the ocean, a wave of devotion to Murugan arose.

The mantra “Arumugam Arulidum Anuthinamum Erumugam” that he mentioned worked wonders in the lives of Murugan devotees. He encouraged devotees to publicly share their miraculous experiences, thus turning them into witnesses of Murugan’s grace.

After his first journey to the Himalayas, a meditation guru named Subramaniar came into his life to guide him to the next level. Through him, he learned the Third Eye Meditation. Following instructions received in meditation, Jayam Gopi researched fate and karma.

The results of this research revealed many truths about the universe to him, explaining how karma follows humans and how to put an end to it. He described these findings in many interviews in a way that common people could understand. One of the messages was to maintain an equal state of mind, so that the nature will support them.

His second journey to the Himalayas led him to the Karthik Swami Temple, the place where Murugan first stood after departing from Kailash. Mesmerized, he shared his experience about the temple with people, resulting in thousands of people visiting the Himalayan Murugan. He also mentioned that one could see a peacock in Kailash, explaining this vision.

To excel in life, one’s past good deeds are essential. To strengthen these merits in future births and to reduce the burden of sins, Jayam Gopi established the Punniyam Foundation. He created this foundation to support divine children and alleviate their suffering even after his time. He openly stated that only those who worship Arupadai Murugan should follow him.

For those who approached him with their troubles seeking remedies, he, having received authority, conveyed the commands of Arumugan. Many shed tears of joy as their hardships dissolved. Jayam Gopi began to work with the name of the one giving orders written in his blood.

Jayam Gopi tirelessly works to unite Murugan devotees from all over and spread devotion to the next generation. Thousands have started to follow him, holding his hand as he revolves around Murugan.

He plans to spread the fame of Murugan, who first travelled around the world, to countries like Australia, America, Malaysia, Singapore, and London. He is making efforts to unite those who sing the praises of the Peacock Vehicle, even if they are a thousand miles away.

Like a village gathering to pull a chariot, we will join him to pull the chariot of Murugan’s glory, making our lives sweeter.
